About Statement:

"Andaaz is UCI’s one and only South-Asian fusion acapella team, known for fusing the intonations of classical Indian and popular Bollywood music with the harmonies of contemporary English music. 

We enjoy performing and competing in front of diverse crowds to showcase our talent and to spread our love for music!

 

Formerly known as UCI "Haath", Andaaz carries forward the legacy of A cappella singing at UCI. Most notably, they placed 3rd in the annual A cappella competition Anahat at Berkeley in 2008. They recently competed at Anahat in Berkeley and at UCI’s Soulstice in 2016-17.

From performing at the Indian Film Festival to GWA to just friends and families on campus, Andaaz has seen the best of times. It's not just about singing a song, but decorating it with signature harmonies and rhythms that makes it memorable. A team that's ever evolving, this is just the start of something greater!"
