About Statement:

"Cambodian Awareness Organization at the University of California, Irvine was founded in 2009, dedicated to bringing awareness to Cambodian culture and history. CAO celebrates multiculturalism and diversity amongst its members while encouraging the education of Khmer culture. With a commitment to education and altruism, CAO maximizes its efforts to raise money for school supplies to donate to underpriviledged children in Cambodia.

In addition, CAO is dedicated to building bridges between student Cambodian organizations throughout California and connecting with organizations on campus and in the community. CAO is part of the Khmer Student Coalition (KSC) family, a constituent of the Asian Pacific Student Association (APSA), an affiliate of the Cross Cultural Center (CCC), and the Southeast Asian Student Association (SASA) at UCI."
